Who We Are
MGMA is a small community of young Franciscan Catholics and a Korean and English bilingual fraternity located in Anaheim. We belong to the Third Order of the Franciscan Family, also known as the Secular Franciscan Order. We are devout laypersons that strive to live the gospel values in the manner of St Francis of Assisi.
What Do We Do?
At 7:30pm, 2nd Friday of the month, we gather at a church in Anaheim. We begin with a simple refreshment and sing, pray and share our lives. We also meet outside of church such as having a potluck at someone’s house, doing outdoor activities, or participating apostolic works together. For example, we have annual events like the retreat in the spring and summer-camp: we also participate H2O Lenten Project, California Coastal Clean-up, and fundraising events.
